Growing up, Smith saw a disparity between herself and her peers, so financial security was a big goal for her. Combine this goal with her love for creativity, and renovating properties was a natural career for her.

Julie Wyatt is a renovation coach who is also a single mother and part time nurse. She became a nurse straight out of high school which ultimately changed her life perception, and she carried this with her in her later years when she finally dove into property investment, a passion she had always been interested in but had never taken that first step.

Winston White is a buyer's and selling agent as well as property investor who has renovated and sold at least 15 different properties on his own and helped acquire another 20 properties for a company. As part of his work, he helps people get into the property market, usually those who don't have a big deposit on hand, and helps sellers move their properties who may be struggling to sell in a downturn market. He has experience not only in project marketing wherein he helped developers move their stock but has also worked with house and land packages. 

Oliver Jackson is a property buyer’s agent so he will help his clients on valuing properties and also getting it for a good price. He and his wife started a business called Living Property in order to not only help buy but give advice to clients on how to rejuvenate their property. Jackson started off working in construction but eventually made the transition to property and quickly became immersed in that world.

Cherie Barber runs Australia's leading renovation course Renovating for Profit, and is a household name due to her appearances on Today Tonight, The Living Room, and her starring role in HGTV’s Five Day Flip. Now with over 110 renovations under her belt, Barber freely admits she came into her renovation and TV careers by accident, but it was the best thing that happened to her.
